Privacy.
How we handle your personal data — in short: as carefully and sparingly as possible.
01
Responsible party
The party responsible for this website within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:
Palintonos Trio Ektoras Tartanis (contact) palintonos.trio@gmail.com
If you have any questions about data protection, please write to us at the email address above.
02
General principles
We take the protection of your personal data seriously and treat it confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations — in particular the GDPR — and this privacy policy.
This website is designed to collect as little personal data as possible. We do not use analytics tools, tracking pixels or advertising cookies, and we do not create user profiles.
03
Contact form and email inquiries
When you use the contact form, your message is opened in your own email application and sent from there to palintonos.trio@gmail.com. The details you enter (name, email address and message) are used solely to process your inquiry.
We use your data exclusively to answer your request and never pass it on to third parties without your consent. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures and responding to inquiries) or Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in responding to messages addressed to us).
We delete your messages once they are no longer needed, unless statutory retention obligations require longer storage.
04
Instagram embed
Our website embeds a public view of our Instagram profile via an iframe provided by Instagram (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd., Merrion Road, Dublin 4, Ireland).
When you visit this page, your browser loads content directly from Instagram servers. In the process, technically necessary data — in particular your IP address — is transmitted to Meta. This happens regardless of whether you are logged in to Instagram or have an Instagram account.
If you are logged in to Instagram, Instagram may associate the visit with your account. Interactions with the embedded content (for example clicks) are transmitted to Instagram.
The embed is used to present our artistic work on our own website; the legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in an appealing presentation of our content). You can find more information in Instagram’s privacy policy: https://help.instagram.com/519522125107875
If you do not wish data to be transmitted to Instagram, please do not interact with the embedded feed and consider using a browser add-on that blocks third-party content.
05
Hosting
This website is hosted by an external service provider. The data collected when you visit the website (in particular IP address, date and time, requested page and browser information) is processed on the provider’s servers exclusively for the technically necessary delivery of the website.
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a secure and efficient provision of our website).
06
Server log files
The hosting provider automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser transmits automatically. These are:
browser type and version · operating system · referrer URL · host name of the accessing computer · time of the server request · IP address
This data is not merged with other data sources and is deleted after a short period. It serves the technical operation, security and stability of the website.
07
Your rights
You have the right at any time, free of charge, to:
access your personal data stored by us (Art. 15 GDPR), rectify inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR), erase data (Art. 17 GDPR), restrict processing (Art. 18 GDPR), data portability (Art. 20 GDPR), and object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR).
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority — for example the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA), which is responsible for us.
08
SSL / TLS encryption
This site uses SSL/TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the lock symbol in your browser line and by the address beginning with “https://”.
09
Changes to this policy
We may adapt this privacy policy from time to time so that it always complies with the current legal requirements or to implement changes to our services. The version published on this page applies.
